Bayonetta delighted players when it was originally released because of its enthralling action hack and slash gameplay. Since the release of Bayonetta 2 back in 2014, there have been plenty of rumors about the future of the franchise. Fortunately for players who have been eager to play the original title, it has been released as a bundle with another excellent action game; Vanquish. For fans who are concerned about having enough time to enjoy the title, it shouldn't take up too much of their time unless they are a completionist.

Bayonetta was originally released in 2009 and eventually made it to the US and Europe in 2010, many were impressed with the graphics and how satisfying combos were. The developer of the game, PlatinumGames, has released many successful titles, but it seems that Bayonetta has stayed in the hearts of gamers for the longest.

It is somewhat surprising that the game has had such an impact as the story only takes 11 hours 27 minutes to complete on average. With that said, it can take closer to 18 hours on a leisurely playthrough and there are plenty of entertaining ways to beat opponents and progress. For gamers who like to play a game to its fullest, the game can be stretched to 40 hours if they wish to complete every aspect of the game completely. Undoubtedly, alongside Vanquish, Bayonetta gives gamers plenty to sink their teeth into regardless of the way they like to play the title.

While Bayonetta will keep fans entertained, many will be wondering about the release of a third entry in the series. Designer for PlatinumGames, Hideki Kamiya, has claimed that more details about Bayonetta 3 will come soon. If the new Bayonetta title is on its way, many fans will play the bundle to prepare for the new installment. There are more announcements expected to come from PlatinumGames this year and it will be interesting to see how much Bayonetta is featured.

Despite planning to announce big news last year, PlatinumGames looks set to deliver a new stage for the company in 2020. With the companies incredibly track record of delivering action games, this could mean fantastic new content. In the meantime, players can enjoy around 12 hours of distraction from waiting for announcements as they revisit a classic game.
