Players can enjoy the new Battletoads game with their friends and families now that it has been released. Many fans of the franchise have been waiting for it to return with many satisfied with this new title.

Battletoads is spread out over three acts and 25 levels in total. This gives players plenty of content to go through as they play through the game as well as great stopping points for taking breaks.

The first act available for players in Battletoads of course is Act 1. This act contains all of the tutorial sections and will introduce players to the mechanics needed to get through the game. Act 1 is additionally where players will be able to fight the first series of bosses to come in the game.

There is a total of 7 different stages that players need to beat in Act 1. These stages are:

  • Act 1 - Stage 1: Feed the Fantasy
  • Act 1 - Stage 2: Menial Jobs
  • Act 1 - Stage 3: To The Queen
  • Act 1 - Stage 4: At The Carn-Evil
  • Act 1 - Stage 5: So That's How That Works
  • Act 1 - Stage 6: Toadshambo
  • Act 1 - Stage 7: Time for Plan B

Players should note that there are five different collectibles that are hidden throughout most stages. There is additionally an extra sixth collectible that players can get by following the requirement shown in the pause menu for the stage they are currently in. There are a total of 78 collectibles found throughout the entire game.

The best way to find collectibles is to feel for the controller rumbling. If the players' controller rumbles while just walking around or standing in place, that means that there is a collectible nearby. They take the appearance of a yellow diamond shaped prism.

There is plenty of content for players to enjoy in Battletoads even past the first act. Additionally, there's more to the gameplay than the beat em up sections, as Act 1 also offers the widely known Turbo Bike sections of the Battletoads franchise. Players are also able to play and mess with a variety of mini-games that add on to the main game as a whole. However, some mini-games such as the hacking mini-games can be skipped if players fail at completing them too many times.

After Act 1 is completed, players will still have 18 more stages to complete over the course of Act 2 and Act 3. As the game is only recently released, there are likely still many secrets waiting to be found by players all over the world as well.
