Without a doubt, a bevy of gamers considered Battlefield V to be one of E3 2018's most highly anticipated games, as players had been excited to finally learn some more about the forthcoming first-person shooter from DICE. Thankfully, the studio has now given folks an additional bit of insight into what can be expected from title by releasing a brand new multiplayer trailer during Electronic Arts' EA Play 2018 presser.

Fans can get a look at the latest multiplayer trailer for DICE's Battlefield V at E3 2018 directly below. The majority of the trailer depicts a huge aerial battle taking place over the snowy landscape of what appears to be a small village. There's plenty of boots-on-the-ground roles to fill, and the combat appears to be just as chaotic as ever, with bullets and bombs flying from almost every conceivable angle.

While Battlefield V's multiplayer trailer provides fans of the first-person shooter franchise a decent notion of the type of combat the title will have, it's a safe bet to make that they would rather have seen a core gameplay reveal. Thankfully, though, DICE and Electronic Arts will be unveiling more footage of how the World War II-inspired FPS will actually play during Microsoft's E3 2018 presser.

Taking everything into consideration so far, plenty of eyes will be on Battlefield V for the coming weeks and months leading up to its launch later this year. After all, the multiplayer experience is a major part of what keeps folks coming back for more. Additionally, with DICE and EA having finally decided to confirm that the sequel will have a battle royale mode, it will be interesting to see how it stacks up against its competitor Black Ops 4's Blackout mode.

Battlefield V is currently scheduled for launch on October 19, 2018 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
