Battlefield 6 fans have been waiting a long time for the game’s trailer, and that wait will finally be coming to an end soon. When gamers do finally get to see Battlefield 6 in action, EA seems confident that they will be impressed by what is shown, as the company’s CEO and CFO have heavily praised the trailer.

In the same earnings call that revealed Battlefield 6’s cross-gen status, EA CEO Andrew Wilson hyped up the game for investors and fans. While Wilson did not address annualized releases or the game modes that will feature in Battlefield 6, he did say that he had the chance to see the “work in progress” trailer last week. Per Wilson, the footage is “incredible,” with the CEO citing the massive battles of the game as a major draw. He also hypes up the increased player count, adding that the next-gen version of the game is particularly impressive.

Wilson also specified that the “destruction is really incredible” in the new Battlefield game, a statement that has been a major talking point for industry insiders like Tom Henderson. According to the leaker, entire cities will be destructible, with natural disasters having a huge impact on the terrain of several Battlefield 6 maps. This certainly lines up with Wilson’s hype-building for the destruction, though these features remain unconfirmed. However, the CEO is adamant that the game is “spectacular,” saying that it will be an “amazing relaunch of the franchise” and “an incredible live service” title.

Battlefield 6 Wish List

Unsurprisingly, EA CFO Blake Jorgensen’s comments were glowing as well, as he assured those on the call that the game “will be great” on any console. However, he too cites the next-gen versions as superior, saying that gamers will be “blown away” by how the game looks. As for when fans can expect to see the reveal trailer for Battlefield 6, the debut gameplay is confirmed to be arriving sometime in June. Though no specific date has been listed, leakers have claimed it will happen early in the month.

While fans do still have a bit of waiting to do for Battlefield 6, a fair bit of info about the trailer has already leaked onto the internet. Battlefield 6’s trailer audio has appeared online in its entirety, giving fans a clear indication of what is happening at several points in the trailer. Two screenshots have also leaked, showing a green island, a rocket, and a player in a jet. Other leaked details about the trailer suggest that a desert map will be seen in action, with the area showing off the game’s scale clearly. The crash-landing feature will reportedly appear as well, with the destruction of the aforementioned rocket seen, too.

With Battlefield 6’s release window also narrowed down via this EA earnings call, it is an exciting time to be a fan of the series. While fans will need to push through May, it seems like official information is right around the corner.

Battlefield 6 is currently in development.
