After months of build-up, Battlefield 2042 is available for players to jump in and play. However, since the full release of the game on November 19, players have reported a number of bugs impacting the gameplay. Despite these numerous post-launch issues, players are still managing to record some epic highlights during matches.

In a post on Reddit, a user known as CaesarGGM shared a highlight they captured during a recent game of Battlefield 2042. In the clip, the player showcased an incredible triple collateral kill they achieved while sniping. The short video began with the player next to a stone barrier as they used a sniper to shoot at soldiers in the open field beyond. While the player landed a nice snipe on one opponent straight away, they had their sights set on something more impressive.

After sniping the first enemy, CaesarGGM scanned the horizon, searching for another target. Luckily, it didn’t take them long to find three more enemies near a cement embankment. Instead of taking the next shot immediately, the player waited patiently for the perfect moment. Fortunately for the player, their diligence was rewarded. After a few more seconds, the three oblivious opponents suddenly stood in perfect alignment with the crosshair on CaesarGGM’s sniper rifle. Without missing a beat, the player took the shot, eliminating all three enemies and earnig their first triple collateral kill in Battlefield 2042.

This incredible clip from CaesarGGM has caught the attention of numerous members of the Battlefield 2042 community on Reddit. With over 4,200 upvotes in less than a day, many were shocked at how lucky the player was for the unaware enemies to line up perfectly. “Sometimes, they just line up for you,” one person in the comments quipped. In addition to complimenting the player on the highlight, some pointed out that it took a considerable amount of discipline to wait for the right time to take the shot. Furthermore, others thought the player could have had a chance for a quad kill if they waited even longer.

Besides this video captured by CaesarGGM, many other people have shared impressive highlights from Battlefield 2042. Following the release of the game, fans have been posting amazing wingsuit kills. These posts from the community illustrate that while the game contains many issues that need to be fixed, it still has the potential to supply some of the exciting moments that have made the series popular. It will be interesting to see what other highlights are made on the battlefield in the coming days.

Battlefield 2042 is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
