WB Games Montreal has chosen this week to restart its marketing campaign for its unannounced game. While reports and rumors alike claim that WB Games Montreal's next game is a continuation of the Batman Arkham series, nothing is official until it's official.

Earlier today WB Games Montreal started teasing an image by sharing three fragments across its social media. When fully revealed, the image was mostly confusing. It appeared to be an emblem of sorts, which fans came together to guess was a Gotham City Police Department badge. This was assumed simply because fans have heard the rumors that WB Montreal Games is working on a Batman game. Without those rumors, the emblem wouldn't make much sense.

Following fans piecing together the new teaser image, WB Montreal Games released another teaser. This new image featured a diagram with rings of circles. The outer ring, which features six different circles, had two filled in. One circle has the GCPD emblem, while another has a different emblem teased some months back. The second emblem is believed to be a Demon's Head logo representing Ra's al Ghul's organization.

The important detail, however, is just how many empty circles remain on the diagram. In the outer circle, four spots are empty while the inner circle has four more. There are also five more small circles, but those might be ornamental. Fans fear that the diagram could mean a week or more per empty circle reveal. That's potentially another 8 weeks of teasers just to complete the diagram, plus however long afterward it takes for the full reveal. All for a Batman game fans already presume is coming.

What's frustrating about the situation is that it seems like fans already know that WB Games Montreal is working on a Batman game. Perhaps WB Games Montreal will surprise everyone, but Batman seems very likely. Even fans who are excited about the factions that will be in the game would probably agree it's worth announcing the game, whether it's Batman: Arkham Legacy or otherwise. But in the meantime, it looks like WB will be trying to stay in the online conversation for as long as possible.

WB Games Montreal's in-development game has no announced title, release date, or supported platforms.
