Consoles gamers have been able to enjoy Batman: Arkham Knight to the fullest, with only minor issues since launch. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for those that prefer to play on PC, as Batman: Arkham Knight has been nothing but trouble for PC gamers since it released a couple of weeks ago.

The problems with the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight have been so bad that WB Games actually pulled the game from sale and offered full refunds. However, those that have made the decision not to receive a refund for the barely functional PC version have still been able to somewhat play the game, if they have a powerful enough PC, and may have been looking forward to the upcoming Batgirl: A Matter of Family DLC that's supposed to drop on July 14th for season pass owners, and on July 21st as a standalone purchase.

PC gamers that have been able to retain Arkham Knight and wanted to purchase the Batgirl DLC are in for some bad news. WB Games has made the decision to delay the DLC's release until the PC version of the game is fixed and once again available for purchase. In a post on their official forums, they explained, "We apologize for the delay and only want to make sure that any content that we offer is up to the standards that PC players expect."

The Batgirl: A Matter of Family DLC serves as a prequel to Arkham AsylumCity, and Knight. It stars the titular Batgirl as she tries to save her father, Commissioner Gordon, from the clutches of The Joker at a new location, the Seagate Amusement Park. The DLC will cost $6.99 and will be available to download for season pass owners begin July 14th, unless they're PC season pass owners.

With Rocksteady taking the lead on fixing the PC version of Arkham Knight, hopefully PC gamers can get back to their Gotham adventures sooner rather than later. That being said, the news that WB Games knew about the title's PC problems for months before its release is not very reassuring, and makes it seem as though Batman: Arkham Knight on PC was just an afterthought. At this point, it's anyone's guess as to when Arkham Knight will once again be available for purchase on PC, let alone the Batgirl: A Matter of Family DLC.

Batman: Arkham Knight is currently available for PS4 and Xbox One, with the Batgirl: A Matter of Family DLC coming Tuesday, July 14th for those with the season pass, and on July 21st as a standalone purchase. Unfortunately for PC gamers, sales for Arkham Knight have been suspended indefinitely, and as such, the Batgirl: A Matter of Family DLC has been delayed as well.
