Back 4 Blood is coming very soon to all platforms, helping October 2021 to be massive for FPS games. The release date for the game is technically October 12th, 2021, but the times that it will be available will depend on where a player is located and what platform they have purchased the game for.
Back 4 Blood's Available Platforms
Back 4 Blood will be an available title for just about any platform players might want it for. Not only will players be able to purchase the game for PC through Steam or the Epic Games Store, but it will also be available for PlayStation, Xbox, and as a day-one title for Xbox Game Pass. However, it doesn't look like this title will be available for Stadia or Nintendo Switch; if it does come to either of these, it will be announced by either Warner Brothers or the devs of Back 4 Blood, Turtle Rock Studios.

Is Back 4 Blood Available for Pre-Download?
Back 4 Blood, like many AAA titles, is a fairly large file. Players may be wondering if it will be available for preload to save them a little time down the line. Some Xbox Game Pass players have had access to pre-downloading Back 4 Blood since September 25, but not all platforms have had access quite that long.
However, no matter the console or PC store players have chosen to purchase this much-anticipated FPS zombie killer game, pre-loading should be available for all of them. If players are looking to get certain versions of the special editions, they may have to pre-order before the official release time.
