Fans of the Disney Plus TV show The Mandalorian have been anxiously awaiting Baby Yoda merch for some time, as the cute little alien quickly became a fan-favorite character of the Star Wars franchise. Now, after months of waiting, Baby Yoda merch is finally on its way for fans of the series.

Hasbro has finally unveiled a smattering of Baby Yoda merchandise, including plush dolls, animated figures, LEGO sets, and plenty more. Previously, Baby Yoda merchandise was kept under wraps to avoid spoilers, leaving fans without any physical goodies to represent their love of the character.

Now, the Baby Yoda draught is effectively done with, and fans should be able to find plenty of neat Baby Yoda products out in the wild. Perhaps most anticipated is an animatronic Baby Yoda currently available for preorder. The animatronic figure will actually move around and make noise, which will likely make it a fan-favorite. However, there's no telling if Baby Jabba will get the same treatment.

In addition to Baby Yoda, other characters from The Mandalorian are also getting the toy treatment. Figures of The Mandalorian himself, IG-11, and Cara Dune have also been revealed, offering fans of the series plenty to look forward to in terms of branded merchandise. Star Wars has always had loads of merchandise available for fans of the franchise, and it appears that the trend won't stop with The Mandalorian.

If anything, the high demand for The Mandalorian merchandise, and Baby Yoda, in particular, proves just how much of an impact the show has made. Fans have been quick to compare The Mandalorian to Netflix's The Witcherbut both have managed to impress their respective audiences. The Mandalorian may have better merch, but the characters are also far easier to market than their Witcher counterparts.

There will likely be plenty more merchandise on the horizon for Baby Yoda, especially when Season 2 of The Mandalorian launches. Disney has put a heavy emphasis on its new streaming platform, and it seems likely that it will continue to try and aggressively grow the audience for the service. Top-tier merchandise is just one way it can do so.

The Mandalorian is available to stream now on Disney Plus.
