The GeForce Now leaks have been giving the public insight into the release calendars of some of gaming's biggest publishers and now a new batch of leaks are making the internet rounds including dates for relatively mysterious projects like Avowed, Fable, and The Elder Scrolls 6. In fact, the newest leak shows dates for most of the Microsoft first-party lineup, however, given the nature of the information, it's best to take it with a major grain of salt.

Posted to a now-deleted Github thread by user Woctezuma, the leak claims that fans can expect Avowed on December 7, 2022, Fable on October 12, 2023, and The Elder Scrolls 6 on January 2, 2024. It's important to keep in mind that, given how frequently release dates change in the games industry, these dates are far from set in stone, however, they can provide a relative window for when fans can expect the upcoming titles.

Other major titles included in the leak are Redfall (June 20, 2022), Forza Motorsport (August 12, 2022), Perfect Dark (December 8, 2022), and Machine Games' untitled Indiana Jones game (January 1, 2024). Given the sheer number of games featured in the leak, it begins to feel a little bit too good to be true, but it does a good job at giving a general release timeline for Xbox first-party games.

One detail that should raise eyebrows is the fact that the leak places Indiana Jones as coming out on January 1, 2024, which isn't a particularly good time for new releases given the many other things that tend to be going on on the first day of a year. What's more, the leak places The Elder Scrolls 6 as coming out the following day, January 2, 2024.

These two dates are a clear sign that the information in the leak is likely full of placeholder dates, but it also potentially corroborates what Bethesda Game Studios has said about The Elder Scrolls 6: that it's still a long way off. The good news, however, is that Avowed might be coming within the next year if the leak is to be believed.

Avowed, like a lot of Microsoft's first-party projects, has gone relatively silent following its announcement, but hopefully, its potential 2022 release date means that more public information is coming sometime soon. Given the rest of the titles included in the GeForce Now leak, it looks like next year might be one of Xbox's biggest ever.

Avowed is in development.
