Auto Chess has revealed its theme for Season 11, The Legend of Lamp Witch, with a jazzy new trailer. Season 11 of Auto Chess launched on March 28 with new pieces, challenges, and cross-play possibilities.

After reigning as a widely successful Dota 2 mod, Auto Chess became a full-released game for PC and mobile devices. Later, it was released for PS4 and soon Auto Chess will make its way to the PS5 with features highlighting the console's capabilities, such as haptic feedback in the DualSense controllers and a PlayStation exclusive chess player named Date Masamune. But before players will get to experience Auto Chess on the PS5, a new season has launched alongside the Chess Pass on March 28.

The new season of Auto Chess is titled The Legend of Lamp Witch and it looks like this season's chessboard will take place inside a genie's lamp, Land of Magic Lamp. However, players will need to spend some time with the new board to see how exactly it affects gameplay. Aside from new challenges, Season 11 of Auto Chess will also bring a new chess piece, Space Walker.

Space Walker is a new chess piece inspired by the legend of the Monkey King, also sometimes known as Wukong. While it doesn't look like Space Walker has any ties to the Witch Lamp theme in Season 11, Space Walker combines the Beast race with the Martialist class. According to the PlayStation Blog, it'll "expand the gameplay possibilities beyond" what players have currently experienced.

When Auto Chess comes to PS5 on March 30, players can expect better load times, and Global Finals for Auto Chess will take place in late 2021.

Auto Chess is available for Mobile, PC, and PS4, with a PS5 version to release on March 30.
