The Poni Canyon YouTube channel posted the official trailer for the Attack on Titan The Final Season Part 2 anime on Tuesday. The trailer previews the upcoming events of the highly anticipated anime, showcasing what fans can expect.

Part 2 of the final season will start with Episode 76, titled “Sentencing”. It will premier on the NHK General channel on January 10, 2022, at 12:05 a.m. in Japan.

The anime features a returning cast, and many staff members from the Final Season’s first part will be continuing on as well. Director Yuichiro Hayashi will be brought back to conclude the series, as will scriptwriter Hiroshi Seko, music composers Hiroyuki Sawano and Kohta Yamamoto, and character designer Tomohiro Kishi.

Both Crunchyroll and Funimation will stream the final season as it airs, starting January 9. Both services will stream the series in the U.S., Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, with Crunchyroll distributing the show in Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, and Russia, and Funimation handling the distribution in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Peru, and Chile.

NHK started airing compilation specials recapping the previous 75 episodes on October 24. Six total compilations are set to air, featuring the OVA episodes “Wall Sina, Goodbye”, “Lost in the cruel world”, and Attack on Titan: No Regrets.

The Attack on Titan anime first aired during the Spring 2013 Season, with the first season running into the Fall 2013 season. The first three seasons were produced by Wit Studio from 2013-2019, with MAPPA taking over for the fourth and final season.

The final season premiered in December 2020 on NHK, with Crunchyroll and Funimation streaming the series as it aired with English subtitles. The Attack on Titan manga ran from 2009-2021 in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine, amassing 34 collected volumes throughout its run. Kodansha USA publishes the series in English.
