Armin Arlert had one of the most moving character arcs in Attack on Titan since fans could see this brave little boy turn into one of the most iconic heroes of the series. She joined the Military Police Brigade at an early age and by that time she already secretly had some twisted ideals thanks to her father's brainwashing. 3 Mikasa Ackerman

Mikasa Ackerman was Attack on Titan's strongest and most interesting female character. She came from two powerful clans and since she was the last survivor of the Asian clan she even had to protect herself not only from Titans but from kidnappers who wanted to sell her on the black market.

Even though she was a brave fighter she wasn't perfect either and Mikasa's worst mistakes led to some of AOT's darkest moments. However, she was a dedicated soldier who always improved her skills and was always kind and respectful toward others. Eren Jaeger had the most surprising and darkest character arc in Attack on Titan. He was one of the bravest heroes in the series who was turned into the single most powerful and frighting Titans who ever existed. Even though fans could understand his actions, his reasons still didn't justify the many deaths and horrible actions of Eren.

However, he always wanted to protect all Paradisians, especially his loved ones who were closest to him. Eren was one of the characters with the most intense hatred toward Titans so his transformation in AOT was truly one of the most shocking and thrilling moments in anime history.

Captain Levi Ackerman was Attack on Titan's biggest hero and its strongest fighter who killed more Titans than anyone else in the series. He also got one of the most heartbreaking and darkest backstories in the series. He had insomnia and an obsession because of his past for his entire life.

Levi was also one of the most mysterious characters who found out more and more information about himself and his ancestry along with the fans as the seasons went by.
