Assassin's Creed Valhalla's open map is filled to the brim with wealth, mysteries, and artifacts for player to discover, so much so that the map showing the location of all collectibles in Valhalla looks extremely cluttered. Despite this, finding these bits of wealth always feels great, and some of them even provide new equipment for Eivor to use.

Early on in the game, players may come across the town of Sutton Hoo while exploring East Anglia. This small town is located in the southeastern portion of that region, and contains a piece of wealth. Assassin's Creed Valhalla players that manage to find this wealth will be rewarded with a powerful shield for Eivor to use against their foes.

It should be said that East Anglia has a suggested power of 55, so while it's possible to explore and collect in this region as soon as Eivor gets to England, it may be wise to wait until the player has reached that level. Aside from that, nothing stops players from getting this wealth as soon as they want to.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla Sutton Hoo Wealth Guide

The town of Sutton Hoo is full of enemies, so players will need to clear them out before searching for the wealth. A preliminary scan of the area will reveal that it is underground, but getting the shield isn't as simple as finding the entrance. Right next to the wealth beacon, there's a destroyed boat with an entryway underground, but the door here is barred and impassable. Instead, players will need to head to the right when exiting the boat to find another underground entrance.

Follow this winding path until entering a large room with some enemies. To save time later, be sure to grab the key on the far left hand side of the room, and then continue on until reaching a breakable wall. Players with Assassin's Creed Valhalla's explosive arrow ability, Incendiary Powder Trap, can use a shot to break the wall, but there's a way around it without that skill as well. Climbing up the wall to the right of the blocked path will give players a line of sight to explosive pots on the other side, these can be shot to break down the wall.

Inside, players will find a locked chest, the key for which was found in the room prior. Opening it will reward players with the Plank and Buckler Heavy Shield, increasing heavy damage when parrying. The other side of the barred door is also found here, allowing for a quicker exit to the surface.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
