Ubisoft revealed new DLC content for Assassin's Creed Valhalla for the remainder of 2021. The Title Update 1.4.0 and Tombs of the Fallen have been made available to players as of November 9, 2021. Set for November 11, 2021, and ending December 2nd, 2021 is the Time-Limited Event: Oskoreia Festival. Finally, there is another Title Update (1.4.1) scheduled sometime in December 2021.

For now, players will only have access to Assassin Creed Valhalla's Tombs of the Fallen. 100% completionists will want to get the "Spelunker" and "Crypt-ologist" Trophy/Achievement. This can be done by completing one Tomb of the Fallen (Spelunker) and then completing the rest (Crypt-ologist). However, there are a few things players need to do before they can start exploring the new content.

Starting "Tombs of the Fallen"

Getting started is simple, but players will first need their settlement in Ravensthorpe before they can begin Tombs of the Fallen. Once this is done, or if the player already has it, go to Ravensthorpe. Look to the west of the settlement near the docks and there should be three NPCs by the Nene River. If the player is at the right place, they should see animals crawling about in the waters.

Speak to them and they'll remark how their animals have been exhibiting strange behaviors. Eivor will use Synin to scout over the mountains, where they'll find a seidr glyph emitting a tornado of blue aura. After the cutscene, a new objective should be marked on the map. Swim through the river to the other bank, and climb towards the objective marker. Inspect the glyph and a cave called Manius's Sanctum will appear.

Manius's Sanctum

Next, take a Leap of Faith and follow the path through the sanctum. Eventually, there will be a room with a golden device above a locked gate and two mechanisms on the floor. Eivor will remark how they need something heavy to weigh it down, so break the wooden door behind the square mechanism.

At the end of this passage is a podium which just happens to be heavy enough for the switch. Pull it back into the main room, and look beyond the circular slot on the floor. There should be ledges to climb. At the top, there's a lever that will drop a sphere. Place this in the slot and the door should finally open.

Take the zipline down to the hidden chamber and inspect the giant rock wall. Turn around, grab Manius' Key on the workshop table, and backtrack a little to a locked door in the upper right corner of the room. Go through and reach the end to a golden chest. Inside is the cloak, Fallen Hero Cape. With the first Tomb of the Fallen looted, the player can now leave.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla is available now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Amazon Luna, PC, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
