For the most part, hunting down the massive amounts of wealth, mysteries, and artifacts in Assassin's Creed Valhalla is an easy, albeit time consuming, task. This is largely due to the fact that almost every worthwhile collectible in Valhalla can be found on the game's map tab, and placing markers on these make them even easier to locate. That said, there are a handful of treasures to be found in the game that are underground, and these often prove the most difficult to find. After players reach the correct area, they have to find a way to get underground where the treasure is.

The new Siege of Paris DLC for Assassin's Creed Valhalla continues this trend, and players will come across more than a few pieces of loot that they'll have to sniff out underground. The first of these can be found in the starting area of the DLC, Melunois, in a small town by the name of Bradeia.

Before players even start worrying about how to get underground to get the wealth in Bradeia, they should grab the key for it. Using Odin's Sight, it should be easy to locate the key, but just in case, it can be found on the second floor of the house shown above. There's also a note nearby that gives players a hint as to how they can get underground.

There's another platform on the upper level of this house across the way. Here players can find a small chest with Assassin's Creed Valhalla's upgrade materials.

Leave this house and look around for one that is partially burnt like in the photo above. Notice on the left side of the house there is a wooden wall that looks like it can be destroyed.

Head down the stairs that were behind the breakable wall. This is the cellar referenced in the note from earlier. Unfortunately, it seems as though Albertus' son wasn't able to get here to claim his birthright.

Push the shelves out of the way and enter the room they were blocking. There's not much in here, but in the back left corner there is a treasure chest containing the underground wealth players have been seeking out.

Loot the chest and be rewarded with a Nickel Ingot. This can be used to upgrade weapons and armor from Superior quality to Flawless quality, increasing the amount of times they can be refined and adding another rune slot to the gear. At least Albertus' son didn't miss out on much, as these can be purchased from nearly any shop in the game.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
