Wealth and Mysteries may be marked on the map in Assassin's Creed Valhalla, but that doesn't mean they are easy to find. Some of them are hidden deep underground, and these tend to give players the most trouble. While underground collectibles were sprinkled throughout England, they seem to be everywhere in Francia, and it's giving some players a major headache. At the Diodurum Ruins in the starting region of Melunois, players may find themselves struggling to get a Book of Knowledge. There's a clear underground entrance, but it's blocked off, meaning players have to find another way in.

This Wealth is particularly exciting because it represents a new ability added to Assassin's Creed Valhalla with the Siege of Paris DLC. The Golden Flame ability lets Eivor plant a bomb on an enemy during a fight. Not long after, the bomb will detonate, dealing heavy damage to the target and those around it. Something this cool couldn't be easy to get, though.

When first arriving at Diodurum Ruins, players will likely notice the breakable wooden floor. Unfortunately, this doesn't lead Eivor to the Book of Knowledge, as the entryway is blocked off by some immovable shelves. Instead, players will need to find another way in. A nearby note indicates that there might be another entrance in a pond.

Climb up the tower with the Francish banner on it to reach the viewpoint. Synchronize here to fill out the map, and then Eagle Dive into the small pond below. Off to the left there is a large door, dive underwater and follow this until it dead ends. At this point, turn left again and climb out of the water.

Follow the path and open the door with the Hidden Ones symbol on it. On the other side players should see a pile of oil jars and a breakable wall. Eivor can't access it just yet, though, so dive underwater again. Follow the path and make two left turns and eventually the player will surface on the other side of the grate that was blocking them before. Burst open the wall and head to the other side.

There are two important things to grab in this room. The first is the Book of Knowledge that happens to be the reason players came here in the first place. It will teach Eivor the Golden Flame ability, allowing them to wreak havoc on enemies in all-new ways. Next, there's also a key on a table that is very important. It is one of three needed to gain entry to the Hidden Ones' Bureau in Francia.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
