In Assassin's Creed Valhalla, players can choose between one of three main types of playstyles, and even mix and match them to a degree. For stealthy characters, the skills and items associated with the Raven tree work best. Those wanting to focus on ranged combat will upgrade things along the Wolf path, while the path of the Bear emphasizes close ranged combat. The different types of bows in Valhalla also emphasize these playstyles, with light bows being best in melee, hunter bows being balanced all around, and the predator bows raining down death from afar. Players that fancy the predator bow's playstyle will want to get their hands on a powerful bow quickly.

There are a ton of options for powerful bows that players can use in Assassin's Creed Valhalla, each with varying degrees of difficulty to obtain. For example, the easiest predator bow to get in the game is the Needler, as it can simply be purchased from any shop, but there are some others that are much harder to get.

Technically speaking, it's even faster to get Shadow Strike predator bow, but that comes with a caveat. This powerful weapon boosts the damage of critical hits when Eivor's health is full, allowing it to deal some insane damage, but it can't be found in game. The only way to get this weapon is to purchase it with Helix Credits from the microtransactions store. While this may be a disappointment to those that don't want to spend real money beyond the game's initial price, it does mean that this bow can be acquired as soon as players start the game.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla Microtransaction Bow

At the moment, this is the only way to get it, as it can't be purchased, found, or looted in any way. Assassin's Creed Valhalla players recently discovered an Isu bow by breaking a specific rock under the right circumstances, so there could still be more secrets to be found in the vast open world. Even if there are more items for players to get, they probably won't be anything that's already available through the microtransaction shop.

To purchase the Shadow Strike predator's bow, head to the store either through the main menu or from inside the game and select weapons. Navigate over to the ranged weapon section and the Shadow Strike bow should be the second of four options. It costs 350 Helix Credits, so players could get it by buying the base pack of 500 Helix Credits for $4.99 USD and still have some left over.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
