Fans have been looking forward to Assassin's Creed Valhalla. The new Assassin's Creed is set in Britain during the Viking invasion and it seems that the title will mix early politics with some mythology. While it is unclear how much the game will deviate from the conventions of the prior games, there are elements of the game that already have fans excited. Now some relatively meager PC specs should have them hopeful that their rigs can handle the latest AC adventure.

While there are plenty of contemporary games that require huge storage options, Assassin's Creed Valhalla will only require 50GB of storage space. For the baseline, Ubisoft says that gamers can get by with an HDD but an SSD is recommended and sure be standard for most PC gamers by now.

Naturally, the best systems will get the most out of the game but for general use, Assassin's Creed Valhalla should run fine on a mid-tier PC. For players targeting 1080p, 30fps, and a High preset, the recommended GPU is either an AMD RX570 or an Nvidia Geforce GTX 1060. All in all, the game should be relatively easy to run for most PC users, but those who want to play Assassin's Creed Valhalla at the highest fidelity possible will need more modern systems and hardware.

Somewhat predictably, the best quality that the game operates on requires some significant power. Nonetheless, those who have invested in quality technology will be pleased to see that their investment is supported by the upcoming title. And for those who were lucky enough to get their hands on a 3080 or 3090, the game should run at high frame rates on the highest settings with ease.

Players can tweak up to 120 settings to get their PC experience just right, so even those without 30 series cards should be able to see some impressive visuals. This customization ties into the key pillars that Ubisoft has outlined for the upcoming title's PC release.

The team has stated that there was a focus on variability, customization, accessibility, and hardware performance when creating the PC version of Assassin's Creed Valhalla. With a range of options and performances, it is evident that these goals have been successfully met and it looks like the vast majority of PC users will be able to run the game well on their systems.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla is one of the most anticipated games of the year and many will be relieved that the game isn't so technically demanding. With that said, some players will be keen to push what is claimed to be an unlimited cap on FPS.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla releases November 10 on PC, PS4, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X with the PS5 version on November 12.
