With just one month away from the first-year anniversary of Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Ubisoft has been taking steps in ensuring that continuous content is provided for its community. This can be seen in the recently updated AC Valhalla roadmap, and the upcoming discovery tour that many gamers are likely looking forward to. However, waiting for the updates to drop does not seem to stop avid players from finding content for themselves. One such fan did so, by sharing their discovery of a cute Pac-Man Easter Egg in-game.

Implementing Easter Eggs within titles is something that many video game companies seem to be doing more often. Well-known developers such as Capcom and Square Enix often hide little surprises in big titles Resident Evil Village, and Final Fantasy 14. Ubisoft also seems to be in on this trend, with Easter Eggs from Lord of the Rings, League of Legends, and other titles being discovered by players within Assassin's Creed Valhalla. The development team even pays homage to its own, with surprises for fans of older Assassin's Creed titles such as AC Origins, and AC Rogue.

And it seems like a fan has found another piece to add to the growing roster of Assassin's Creed Valhalla Easter Eggs. Redditor DasKrauts shared a seemingly random photo that they took while they were exploring in-game. At first glance, the image only shows a simple meal spread on a wooden table. However, upon closer inspection, gamers will likely recognize the formation of the cheese wheel and red fruits as suspiciously similar to Pac-Man when eating dots in the arcade game.

The post on the Assassin's Creed Valhalla subReddit opened up a short conversation between Redditors about the Easter Eggs found in the game. One even mentioned that the game also has a Skyrim reference, and the original poster replied that that was what inspired them to hop back onto the Bethesda MMO Elder Scrolls Online. Sadly DasKrauts did not share the location of the Pac-Man Easter Egg on the forum, so players who want to see the reference in-game will have to keep an eye out for it in every table that they pass by.

With Assassin's Creed Valhalla being an incredibly massive game with a lot of ground to explore, it is a wonder that its fans are able to find little Easter Eggs such as this Pac-Man one. However, it is these small discoveries that keep players engaged, enticing them to keep discovering more references to other titles as they continue to play the game.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla is available on Luna, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
