Assassin's Creed Valhalla is one of the season's biggest games. Along with being an epic adventure with massive role-playing elements, the Viking-themed title also is filled with secrets to explore. And that is the case with Adze, a member of the Order of The Ancients in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

In Assassin's Creed, the Order of The Ancients is a secret underground society that goes back to at least 900 years before Assassin's Creed Odyssey. The order's goal is to seek out ancient relics of the gods, and they are very much a part of Assassin's Creed Valhalla. Adze is one of the members, and a Warden of Law. Clues must be found to piece together her mystery, and the third one is particularly tricky.

Some of the secrets in Assassin's Creed Valhalla are harder to discover than others, with the secret ending being a prevalent one. Adze's clues are not difficult until the third one arrives. The game tasks players with investigating the watermill south of Tonnastadir Hamlet, but that description alone doesn't help a lot. Seeing and understanding the exact location helps put the pieces together.

Where to Investigate the Watermill South of Tonnastadir Hamlet in Assassin's Creed Valhalla

Assassin's Creed Valhalla is a massive game, so pinpointing the location of the clue can be tricky. The best thing to do is start with an overview of the map. When doing so, highlight the cursor of Mercia, just above the text on the map. Next, zoom in a bit until both Sciropescire and Ledecestrescire are visible on the map. The location is close to the border of the two regions. Zooming in some more will show the area called Cweornric, which is just south of Lyftmere’s Pond. This is where the player will need to be.

Investigating the watermill without the help of an Assassin's Creed Valhalla map is very hard. Once at the location, players will see a watermill spinning. Contrary to what the wording of the hint would indicate, however, the clue is not at the watermill. Instead, there is a small house that overlooks the mill, and this is where players should go. Inside the doorway and to the right is a room with a stack of rugs. On top of the stack is the clue that players will want to collect.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla is an epic adventure. All of the secrets within the title will likely take months for the community to explore. What's great about the game is that it can be enjoyed in many different ways. Whether traversing the beautiful land, taking on the main-story, or simply enjoying a game of Orlog (the board game in Assassin's Creed Valhalla that is getting its own physical release), players have so many options for fun.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
