After reaching Ravensthorpe and building a Stable and Aviary in Assassin's Creed Valhalla, players will have the ability to exchange the silver that they have earned for new mounts. Primarily, these mounts take the form of horses, and indeed there are a variety of breeds for fans to pick from. That said, some players are undoubtedly looking for a slightly more exotic mode of transportation in Assassin's Creed Valhalla, and the Hati Wolf may be exactly what the doctor ordered.

To get right to it, there are two primary ways that fans can obtain this giant wolf mount in AC Valhalla. The first of those ways is to purchase the Collector's Edition or Ultimate Edition of the game, both of which give players access to the Berserker Gear Pack. Indeed, this pack features the Hati Wolf, as well as some other cosmetic items, and fans that have bought one of those special versions of the title can claim the mount from the aforementioned Stable and Aviary after only a few hours of play.

For those players that did not spring for a Collector's or Ultimate Edition of Assassin's Creed Valhalla, the other way to obtain the Hati Wolf mount is to buy it directly from the Companions section of the in-game store. This store can be accessed from both the main menu and a player's inventory, and the mount itself sells for 800 Helix Credits. This equates to approximately 10 USD, and again fans that make the purchase will be able to claim their wolf as soon as they can visit the Stable and Aviary.

To note, some AC Valhalla players suggest that there is a third method for obtaining this mount, and it does not require a real world money expenditure. More specifically, it is said that the Hati Wolf will occasionally appear in the inventory of Ravensthorpe's Opal merchant, giving fans the chance to buy it with an in-game currency. While this has not been fully confirmed at the time of writing, players may want to check-in with that merchant when they can.

It is also worth mentioning that it is possible to get a white wolf companion that will fight alongside Eivor. This is done by completing Assassin's Creed Valhalla's A Little Problem side quest, and players that are looking to befriend a wolf but do not want to pay for the mount should definitely carve out some time for this task during their playthroughs.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
