Destiny and Monster Hunter fans who might've been looking to dip their toes into Assassin's Creed Valhalla now have additional reasons to do so, as the game may be receiving crossover items from these franchises very soon. Valhalla is no stranger to crossovers from other, completely unrelated franchises, but the ones featured as part of the game's final update seem particularly ambitious.

Ubisoft is wrapping up Assassin's Creed Valhalla with a comprehensive send-off chapter, which launched early on December 30. Long-lasting fans of the game have been promised one last batch of content before the developer moves on to other projects, and it would seem that one aspect of the aptly titled The Last Chapter may feature a surprising variety of items from a few very popular IPs.

Now that Assassin's Creed Valhalla's Last Chapter has launched early, YouTuber MAK Moderator has posted a video detailing some of the new weapons and armor sets they uncovered by diving into the game's files, with the footage focusing on the Destiny and Monster Hunter collaboration items. Specifically, these include sets inspired by Saint-14 and Lord Shaxx from Destiny, as well as an Odogaron armor from Monster Hunter. MAK Moderator also mentioned in the video description that at least one more outfit, a number of weapons, and raven and mount skins were hidden in the game files. These items are not yet accessible to players, but it's expected that they will eventually be made available for purchase.

This isn't the first time Valhalla received a slightly out-of-place crossover, it's worth pointing out. Some fans argued that Assassin's Creed Valhalla's Marvel crossover was a step too far already, and the fact that Ubisoft is using its final content update to introduce another batch of jarring items to the game isn't going to thrill players who yearn for a more authentic approach to content.

Players excited about the upcoming release of Assassin's Creed Mirage will be thrilled to hear that one of the new armor sets in Valhalla's Final Chapter comes from the next AC title. Indeed, the rumored Assassin's Creed Mirage crossover in Valhalla has now been confirmed thanks to Ubisoft's early release of this content update, connecting the two franchise entries with one another.

Curiously, Valhalla isn't the only game that Destiny has crossed over with as of late. Just a few months back, Bungie teamed up with Epic Games to deliver a Destiny x Fortnite and Fall Guys collaboration as part of its Epic Games Store release celebration. Certain Monster Hunter items, on the other hand, made their way into Sonic Frontiers, allowing players to dress the blue hedgehog up in one of Capcom's iconic scale armor sets.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
