Excitement has been building for Assassin's Creed Valhalla since the title was announced through an impressive and epic cinematic trailer. The  Assassin's Creed franchise began in 2007 and has been a commercially successful series for Ubisoft, however through its varied history games have explored different mechanics. This has led to plenty of questions about what elements from the past the latest title would be implemented in the new game, and it has been revealed that players will experience some features from the original titles.

It has already been confirmed that Assassin's Creed Valhalla will mark the return of social stealth and many players are interested in how the game will reinvent tropes while remaining loyal to the expansive franchise. While there is still plenty to be confirmed about the game, the trailer has given fans enough to begin guessing at what will be included in the game, although few would have guessed that one old feature would return.

The Creative Director of the upcoming title, Ashraf Ismail, has confirmed that players will once again be able to run around during loading screens. This feature was associated with the now-abandoned Animus cut scenes. It will be interesting to see if this fun feature means that the story is returning to flashes to the future, although many fans will hope this is not the case as some found it irritating. Alongside this news, it has been confirmed that Assassin's Creed Valhalla will replace 'Eagle Vision' with 'Odin's Sight' in the game to match the lore provided from the Last Descendants novels which claimed the name for 9th-century assassins.

Questions are already being asked by fans about how Assassin's Creed Valhalla will tie into the lore of the series which is large and intricate. It has yet to be fully confirmed but in terms of tying in nordic mythology, a common theory is that the Gods will be Isu. It seems unlikely that players will see Animus flashforwards, and with that in mind, it will be interesting to see if the loading screen is just a nod to older fans or if it carries a greater purpose.

It seems that fans have managed to discern facts about Assasin's Creed Valhalla through looking carefully at the trailer and many will be excited to see what comes to light in the coming months. What is clear, is that players are hungry for the new Assassin's Creed Valhalla after seeing the trailer and hearing reports.
