Eivor Varinsdottir may not be a bonafide Assassin in Assassin's Creed Valhalla, but she does play her part in dismantling the Order of the Ancients in England. Interestingly enough, this may actually lead to the creation of the Templar Order in full, but either way, Eivor does not seem keen on joining the Assassins. That doesn't mean fans can't dress as one though.

Recently, Ubisoft gave Assassin's Creed Valhalla player's Altair's outfit. Dubbed the Godly Reward community appreciation gift, fans were able to access the outfit and download it for free (alongside some other goodies) from the Animus store. Now, it seems fans can look forward to another outfit, this time from mentor Basim Ibn Ishaq.

According to YouTube xj0nathan, Assassin's Creed Valhalla players will be able to wear Basim's outfit soon. An exact date or much information aside from that isn't given, but xJonathan does note (via translation from Twitter) that it is "coming soon." He also follows up a question to this tweet, stating it would likely work in a manner to other legacy outfits, but those details aren't exact either.

It would seem that, for the most part, xj0nathan is reliable when it comes to these. He accurately revealed the release date for Assassin's Creed Valhalla prior to its actual announcement, discounting the fact that it was moved up a week to coincide with the release of the Xbox Series X/S. He has also discussed in the past how Ubi would focus on AC Valhalla throughout 2021 with a new game in the franchise slated for 2022. Thus far, nothing has come to light discrediting this either.

While fans may have a slight wait for anything official to come of this, adding Basim's outfit to the game makes sense. Not only is Basim widely popular in the community and so his outfit would likely be as well (depending on how it's unlocked, if it's free, etc.), but his character is incredibly important to the story. Without diving deep into spoiler territory, it's not really an exaggeration to say that Basim changes everything in Assassin's Creed Valhalla and will indubitably impact future games as a result.

Either way, for now, the community still has plenty to do in-game with the Ostara festival ongoing and AC Valhalla's Wrath of the Druids DLC dropping on April 29. It would seem likely that this outfit drops by then at least, but only time will tell.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
