Though Ubisoft released Assassin's Creed Valhalla towards the end of last year, it continues to release updates to improve the experience. One new feature that will be coming to Valhalla soon is particularly exciting, as it has been highly requested by the game's players.

Fans have been anticipating the addition of level scaling to Assassin's Creed Valhalla, and Ubisoft is about to add the feature to the game. The level scaling that Ubisoft will be adding to Assassin's Creed Valhalla goes beyond simply enabling and disabling the feature, though. Fans of Valhalla who are looking for some additional challenge will be able to set the level scaling to constant, harder, or nightmarish.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla's level scaling has five options in total. According to the screenshot recently shared to the official Assassin's Creed Twitter account, level scaling will be disabled by default. Gamers who want some additional challenge in Assassin's Creed Valhalla will be able to make enemies scale more appropriately to their level. The the screenshot shared to the Assassin's Creed Twitter account didn't detail what fans can expect from constant, harder, or nightmarish level scaling. However, it may be similar to choosing between easy, normal, and hard, making nightmarish the obvious choice for Valhalla fans who want the hardest challenge. Level scaling will be added to Assassin's Creed Valhalla on July 27.

If Assassin's Creed Valhalla players enable level scaling, they can expect to experience a more balanced and challenging experience. The level scaling extends beyond simply the enemies inhabiting the Europe of Valhalla, as the territories will scale appropriately as well. Fans who want to continue to feel the impact of their decisions in the skill tree can opt not to adjust this difficulty slider, but it may make the game feel better for other players.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla fans responded to the level scaling news with both praises and criticisms. Some gamers are looking forward to the additional challenge that level scaling presents, but many replies are requesting that Ubisoft focuses on the bugs and glitches. Several fans who seemingly have already beaten the main story of Assassin's Creed Valhalla also implored Ubisoft to add new game plus to the game.

Level scaling was a key feature of Assassin's Creed Odyssey, but Ubisoft seemingly abandoned the feature with Assassin's Creed Valhalla. Now that the feature is coming to Valhalla, Odyssey fans may find more to enjoy out of the latest Assassin's Creed title. Considering how many fans were requesting level scaling for Valhalla, it may end up becoming one of the title's most popular features.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla is available right now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
