The Assassin's Creed franchise has seen a lot of change since the first game in the series was released back in 2007. Whatever the future of Assassin's Creed will bring, the franchise will certainly be putting out a lot of content for fans. One Assassin's Creed player has made a fan-made trailer for Assassin's Creed Infinity. While many fans are unsure what Assassin's Creed Infinity generally is, the game is known to be in development and will have live-service elements that aim change the franchise once again. The game is said to include multiple time periods and historical locations, leading to YouTuber TeaserPlay to create an Unreal Engine 5 demo of Assassin's Creed Infinity set in Kamakura-era Japan.

Japan has been a setting that Assassin's Creed fans have been requesting for some time. Already, there is a lot of lore around Assassin's Creed and Japan, but fans have never been able to play in the setting before. In Epic's Unreal Engine 5, TeaserPlay has fans wanting a Japanese Assassin's Creed title even more, showing off some seriously impressive demo visuals around a Japanese city, including shots of temples, samurai armor, and oni masks. To end the demo, TeaserPlay displays an establishing shot of their version of Assassin's Creed Infinity's map, leaving many hoping that something like this demo will make its way into an Assassin's Creed game soon enough.

If Assassin's Creed Infinity is as big as the rumors and Ubisoft are claiming that it is, then a Japanese setting will likely be one of many included in the game. Hopefully, this doesn't lead to some areas being rushed, but as a live-service title, there will likely be opportunities for the game to expand on multiple historical locations and periods. There is even talk of Assassin's Creed classic titles being remade in Infinity. However, so far most of the news on the upcoming game exists only as rumors and speculation.
