'Assassin's Creed Revelations' Multiplayer Trailer Will Slay You

Assassins Creed Revelations Multiplayer Trailer

It’s been almost a year since the first Assassin’s Creed multiplayer experience, introduced in Brotherhood, came out of the gate and blew gamers away. Now, with Assassin’s Creed Revelations, Ubisoft is taking things a step further and delivering players both the satisfying story conclusion (not a complete conclusion though) they have been waiting for and an evolution of the multiplayer which is more brutal and features more dimensions.

To celebrate the multiplayer’s evolution, Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Assassin's Creed Revelations' multiplayer, which isn’t so much about the new characters, or the modes, but is about the vicious kills players will be able to execute against their unsuspecting victims.

While this new multiplayer trailer, which comes to us courtesy of Gamespot, doesn’t show any of the new modes featured in Assassin’s Creed Revelations, it is chalked full of brutal melee kills — the best part of the Assassin’s Creed experience. With a lot riding on this particular Assassin’s Creed — Ubisoft claims this will wrap up the Ezio and Altair storylines — gamers might be thinking there will be less of a focus placed on the multiplayer as there was during Brotherhood.

Our experience with the Revelations multiplayer, though, has revealed a finer tuned experience, one that uses a couple new modes to keep the player coming back long after all the secrets of the assassins have been revealed.

In just under two months gamers will finally be able to get their hands on this highly anticipated title. While the likes of Modern Warfare 3 and Uncharted 3 are clamoring for your attention, none promises as varied and unique of an experience as Revelations. Just the multiplayer alone features a ton of modes, from a capture the flag variant to straight deathmatch, that you could end up spending your entire 2012 playing Revelations, and Revelations alone.

Are you ready to jump back into the Assassin’s Creed multiplayer with Revelations? How would you like to see Ubisoft take what they introduced in Brotherhood and make it better?

Assassin’s Creed Revelations releases November 15, 2011 for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC.
