Now that Assassin's Creed: Origins has finally been revealed with its first cinematic trailer during Microsoft's E3 2017 press conference, it seems as if Ubisoft is ready to give fans a more up-close-and-personal look at the game by putting out a handful of fresh screenshots. The images provided by the video game publisher and developer not only offers gorgeous stills of the Egyptian environments, but also shows the action-adventure release's protagonist Bayek exploring the terrain and doing battle.

As seen in the gallery below, Assassin's Creed: Origins fans can get a good look at the stunning scenery from the Egyptian deserts, plains, cities, mountains, and rivers, as well as Bayek's proficiency with a multitude of weapons. As it so happens, the screenshots denote that the game's protagonist is well-versed in wielding spears, staffs, bows, and shields, while also being an athletic wonder with the ability to commandeer camels while in combat, in addition to the skill of ascending and descending the exterior of pyramids.

While these Assassin's Creed: Origins are decidedly fantastic, there are surely some fans out there who may want to see Bayek and the game's Egyptian landscape in action. Thankfully, Ubisoft has already provided a gameplay walkthrough during Microsoft's E3 2017 presser, with the visuals beautifully rendered as it played on an Xbox One X – that is, the once-known Project Scorpio console from Microsoft.

All things considered, with Assassin's Creed: Origins having been revealed just recently, it stands to reason that there's still plenty more to learn about the title, so it's important to reserve judgment regarding the content of its full construction. Although the screenshots definitely look magnificent, only time will tell if Origins will be unique enough to stand out among the plethora of other Assassin's Creed sequels and refresh the franchise as a whole.

Assassin's Creed: Origins is scheduled to release on October 27, 2017 for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Xbox One X.
