While the world of  Assassin's Creed Odyssey is already the largest yet in the series by a fair margin, players have been looking to find more ways to keep jumping into the world of Ancient Greece as either Alexios or Kassandra. While developer Ubisoft plans to support the game for quite a while, this month will see the introduction of a new feature allowing players to start their journey all the way back from the beginning, should they choose to do so.

This February, Assassin's Creed Odyssey will be adding a New Game Plus mode for players. The feature was announced a few months ago, yet Ubisoft had no timetable for its release at the time of reveal. We now know, thanks to a light-hearted tweet from the game's official Twitter account, that New Game Plus will arrive in the near future.

All that has been mentioned is the inclusion of New Game Plus, with more to be revealed sometime next week. Some speculation could elude to the idea of being able to switch characters, as Assassin's Creed Odyssey offers the option to choose between either a male or female lead in either Alexios of Kassandra, respectively. Other games that have introduced New Game Plus in recent memory tend to follow consistent traits such as allowing level progression, items, and equipment to carry over into a new playthrough, while also further increasing the difficulty of enemies and bosses to make sure the game's as close to challenging as it was the first time.

Even if players aren't looking for more Assassin's Creed Odyssey, they'll be happy to know another game from the series will be making its remastered return at the end of next month. Assassin's Creed III Remastered will release on March 29th, and will also include Assassin's Creed III: Liberation, which originally launched as a timed-exclusive for the PlayStation Vita back in 2012.

For those not looking to start over from scratch with a brand new story, Assassin's Creed Odyssey's first two chapters of its Legacy of the Hidden Blade DLC are available now to play. Anyone who enjoyed the option to romance any character they wished in the main story, however, may want to wait a while before jumping in. Recent backlash following a forced romantic relationship in the DLC's second chapter, titled Shadow Heritage, has forced Ubisoft to try and tweak the chapter's respective narrative to allow for the same agency players had during the main story.

Assassin's Creed Odyssey is out now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
