For some players, hunting trophies in video games is a way to keep a game fun despite beating the game. Going after harder platinum trophies is a way to show off that a player is the best of the best. While it might be an addiction, some games sit in the middle of being neither too easy nor too hard.

Assassin's Creed Odyssey has a trophy list that is achievable for the trophy hunter and the normal player. Some are extremely hard to get, others are not...

10 Easy: Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger

This trophy is unmissable, as the player is forced to upgrade their ship in order to travel across the map. It will most likely be one of the first trophies that player receives, as they obtain their ship early in the game. The player must gather supplies in order to upgrade their ship, such as wood, leather, and stone.

After obtaining this trophy, players will be able to sail around Greece and visit the many locations the game has to offer. Upgrading the ship more is necessary to obtain a few other trophies from Odyssey.

9 Hard: Lord of the Seas

Much like the last trophy, this one requires the player to upgrade their ship to a legendary status. A lot of grinding will go into this trophy in order to get all of the wood, leather, stone, and gold to upgrade the ship fully. There are 4 upgrades the player must obtain for everything, except for the ram, hull, and crew armor.

The ram and hull requires 6 upgrades, while the crew armor only requires 3 upgrades. After obtaining this trophy, the Adrestia will be the strongest ship in the waters of Greece.

8 Easy: Ramming Speed

Keeping in the theme of ship-related trophies, players can earn the Ramming Speed trophy by cleaving a ship in half. Players will most likely find themselves earning this trophy on accident, as cleaving ships has an advantage in naval combat.

If a player cleaves a ship in half, they will gain back ship health and earn a few extra rewards such as more supplies and gold from the sunken foe. Striking a ship when their health bar is glowing red will cut the ship in half, earning the trophy.

7 Hard: Demigod

Who doesn't like a trophy that requires players to grind and get to a high level in a game? The trophy Demigod will be unlocked as soon as players reach level 50 in Odyssey. Completing side quests and objectives are a good way for players to earn XP.

Exploring Greece and discovering new locations is also a good way to earn XP. After reaching level 50, the mercenary will be powerful and the player will be able to use better armor and weapons.

6 Easy: Hermes's Homie

Players going for the Demigod trophy will want to go for this one at the same time, as discovering locations will give the player XP. Hermes's Homie requires the player to uncover all of the sub-regions in the game. This includes all of the ocean, so be ready to sail around for a bit.

While it is a grind, a lot of the exploration should come naturally as the player progresses through the game. Players should also know that they must go to the smaller islands and step foot on them for the trophy to appear.

5 Hard: Island Hopper

This is the only gold trophy in the game that is non-story related, if that tells you anything about the difficulty of this one. In order to obtain this trophy, players must complete 20 quests on Pephka, Obsidian and Abantis islands. The islands are small, and to get a quest for them the player must go to bounty boards on the bigger islands around the map.

Luckily, the quests on the islands will not be too difficult. At most, the player will have to kill a certain soldier or loot a certain chest. The big that makes this trophy difficult is hoping the quest from a bounty board is on one of the islands.

4 Easy: Shiny!

This trophy should come naturally, as it requires players to equip a legendary item for the first time. There are a few ways to obtain a legendary item, such as looting certain locations, completing a quest, or getting lucky and looting one from a dead enemy.

Aside from the trophy, better stats and perks come with the legendary item. It does not matter what type of legendary item it is, equipping a piece of armor or a weapon will unlock the trophy.

3 Hard: The Cult Unmasked

Killing all of the cultist in Odyssey is a bit of a grind. Most cultist will be killed during the main questline, but a few will need to be found through side quests or random encounters. Luckily, when a clue is found, the player can track the cultist and an icon appears on the map to show their location.

Cultist range from civilians who will flee at the sight of the player to mercenaries who can only be found by being fought in the arena. After killing all of the branches of cultist, the player will be able to kill the leader of all of the cultist and bring an end to the Cult of Kosmos in Greece.

2 Easy: One Head Down...

Obtaining this trophy requires the player to kill all of the cultist in a branch. This should come naturally as the game progresses, as the player will most likely destroy a branch in the questline.

Killing cultist will give the player powerful weapons, armor, and artifacts that are required to upgrade the Spear of Leonidas. It is also fun to hunt down certain branches, as some are only found in naval battles and some are only found if the player raises their bounty.

1 Hard: Legacy Restored

Obtaining this trophy requires the player to upgrade the Spear of Leonidas to Tier 6. To do this, the player has to collect artifacts from the Cult of Kosmos. Having to collect the artifacts makes this trophy a bit of a grind.

The player can only fully upgrade the spear when they have killed every member of the Cult of Kosmos in the game. The upside is, you will now have a powerful weapon to use when you attack enemies and you will restore the protagonist's legacy.
