Ubisoft's latest epic Assassin's Creed Odyssey is off to an equally epic start, as the game has been well-reviewed and received. One thing gamers always enjoy in games like this is a good easter egg, and this action RPG delivers with Easter eggs alluding both to Splinter Cell and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Minor spoilers are ahead.

However, the Easter eggs do not stop there, as the game also includes one that references Donald Trump's 2016 campaign and on-going slogan "Make America Great Again." This allusion in Assassin's Creed Odyssey occurs during the main quest known as A Venomous Encounter, which requires players to save and investigate the assault of an Athens politician.

When confronting the bandits responsible for unleashing snakes on the politician Metiochos, players are given a choice: kill the bandits or let them go. If the former is chosen, then one of the bandit's will state that they won't surrender and that they will "make Athens great again." The acronym for the two would even be the same, which was likely intentional.

For those who want to check out the Easter egg without playing the game, check it out here around the 5:40 mark:

For those who would prefer to check it out themselves, it's one worth mentioning that this quest is one of three given to Alexios or Kassandra by Perikles. Moreover, it's worth adding that the "make Athens great again" returns later in the story, as an important NPC repeats it once again. And for those who are on the fence about picking up Assassin's Creed Odyssey, we recommend checking out our review here.

However, those who do pick it up should be prepared for a grind, as the game length is nothing to be scoffed at. A Venomous Encounter will occur around chapter 4 of the game, which translates to a few hours before players get this Donald Trump Easter egg.

Assassin's Creed Odyssey is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
