Assassin's Creed Odyssey has been a commercial success for Ubisoft, selling better than every current-gen entry of the franchiseNevertheless, games on an epic scale with great reviews like this action RPG are often known to have one or two major glitches, which is nothing out of the ordinary. Those who plan to pick this up soon or are getting near the cultist quest in the main story may want to watch out for this glitch, however. Minor spoilers are ahead.

Entitled "The Serpent's Lair", this Assassin's Creed Odyssey quest has the main character dress up as a cultist in order to infiltrate the antagonist organization. While this quest is mechanically straightforward, but story heavy, there seems to be a problem occurring with some players. It's worth mentioning that this is not happening to everyone, but some are reporting becoming stuck in this cultist garb after the completion of the quest.

Changing armor doesn't work, and there seems to be no real way to fix the issue. The only solution to this glitch is to reload an older save and redo the quest. For players aware of this glitch before beginning the quest, we recommend saving often in order to avoid this unfortunate fate.

It's worth mentioning that Ubisoft tech support is aware of the issue and should hopefully resolve it soon in a future hot fix. Unfortunately, though, no official time frame was given as to when the problem could be rectified.

For those just starting up, we've also compiled a list of necessary skills to pick up as soon as possible. With the hard-fought grind of the game, players need to go in prepared for difficult fights. As more news develops, be sure to check back here, Ranters!
