I loved Assassin's Creed 2, a lot, so the more Assassin's Creed the better! As you can imagine when these Assassin's Creed Brotherood screens popped up on the ol' interblag I was happy and more then a little excited. All the images seem to be from the multiplayer side of Brotherhood, except one which I can only assume is Ezio riding into town on his trusty steed 'Glue Factory Refugee' to do a little damage.

One could speculate, however, that we wont just be playing from the perspective of Ezio this time around. That could be great or awful, and what I mean by that is that it could be 4 or 5 really diverse characters who play completely different. The female plays the role of the light footed seductress, the doctor is the sympathetic but brutal surgeon who will fill a needle with painkillers as quick as poison depending on who his patient is, or the butcher who lives up to his name. However, it could easily be 4 or 5 Ezio's with a different character model, though I can't see Ubisoft doing something that inane.

Most likely though these are the different characters you can choose from in multiplayer. It would be pretty awesome all the same if Ubisoft has some kind of character creation system where you choose your look as well as your style. Here's hoping they are going to pull out all the stops on this one, considering that it will be the 3rd game using the same technology.

So without further digression here are the new screens:

In that second to last one I'd like to think they're saying, "Hey Joe" ... "Steve. Many today?" ... "Eh, 6 or 7, not sure if the last one counts, since he slipped and fell into the path of a horse cart" ..."A happy accident then. Anyways, see ya around."

With luck we'll be seeing much more at E3. Look for our coverage of the event, we'll be live blogging with all the latest in awesome.

Assassins Creed: Brotherhood will be available for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC later this year.
