Of the many games released in the Assassin's Creed series, Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag is one that many in the gaming community seem to cling on to. The massive shift in setting lent a lot to the enjoyability of Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, which in many ways, made the game quite memorable for a number of Assassin's Creed fans. So much so, that one fan still has artwork from Black Flag at their old place of work.

There are several games to occur across the Assassin's Creed timeline with varying different characters and settings. Though, the first several entries in the series were confined to the stories of two characters, Altair and Ezio. While Assassin's Creed 3 was the first game in the series to diverge from those two characters, it wasn't until the release of Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag where the series' formula truly felt reinvented for a number of players. To the point where the Black Flag is still remembered fondly to this day.

A Reddit user named drew4511 shared a photo of an impressive piece of wall art that appears to be spray-painted on. The art includes a golden version of the Assassin's Creed symbol with a golden skull in the center of where the skull would normally be in the Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag logo. According to the user, the art is part of an old car garage the user used to work at.

With so many games released under the Assassin's Creed banner, it's amazing to see just how much influence an individual entry in the franchise can still have on so many people. The fact that Black Flag was released nearly eight years ago and a fan still has art of the game on the wall of their former workplace more than proves that sentiment. There are still numerous fans of the series that place Assassin's Creed 2 on a high pedestal and that game was released over a decade ago.

Then again, the earlier entries in the Assassin's Creed series tend to be some of the most celebrated. Considering that most of the new franchise entries have unlockable versions of certain character outfits, such Ezio Auditore. Not to mention that Edward Kenway's outfit makes a similar appearance in games like Assassin's Creed Syndicate.

It will be interesting to see what Ubisoft has in store for Assassin's Creed moving forward. The last couple of games in the series to come out in recent years, Assassin's Creed Odyssey and Assassin's Creed Valhalla have both provided new takes on the Assassin's Creed formula. Although, right now, it's impossible to know when a new Assassin's Creed game will release.

Assassin's Creed: Black Flag is available now on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
