Ever wonder what you'll be doing as Ezio in memory segment 13, which will be filled in by the new 'The Bonfire of Vanities' DLC for Assassin's Creed 2?  Christophe Grandjean of Ubisoft has given us the first two glimpses into the new section of the game.

In the first screenshot, Ezio appears to be in the process of an assassination, and in the second I'm going to guess that he's pondering his next one.  Either that, or he's wondering when his new DLC will be released.  Thankfully Ubisoft released the official date today as well.  'The Bonfire of Vanities' will release on Xbox Live and PSN February 18th.  The DLC should be $4 (320 Microsoft Points), since the first was $3, and the original announcement back when the game had just released was that one retail for $3 and the other $4.

Hopefully this new add-on will include achievements and trophies, as the first one did not.

A must for Assassin’s fans, Assassin’s Creed II Sequence 13: Bonfire of the Vanities continues to expand the addictive AC2 universe. Work with Machiavelli to free the city of Florence from the grip of the mad monk Savonarola by targeting influential citizens under his control.  Battle, sneak and free-run your way through more than ten challenging new memories.  Discover a new district of Florence, and utilize Ezio’s brand new move: the spring-jump.

Palazzo Medici — Located in Florence, the player gets to explore the house of the Medici family. It is located in the San Marco district of Florence.

Santa Maria dei Frari — Located in Venice, in the San Polo district, the player gets to explore this renowned church built in the XIIIth century.
