Without a doubt, Heirlooms are some of the most coveted cosmetics in Apex Legends. They are incredibly rare, outside of specific events, and getting one equates to a lot of money in real life. Whether they are worth it or not is a personal question, but there’s no doubt they add more flavor to each and every Apex Legends character.
For example, the most recent heirloom added to Apex Legends is Rampart’s Wrench. Not only does it fit to her character and have some pretty cool animations, but it “doubles” as a bubble gum dispenser for her. Octane’s butterfly knife and Mirage’s statue of himself do the exact same thing, but for many fans, it’s past time that Wattson gets an heirloom.
Heirlooms in Apex Legends
There are currently 18 characters in the game, which means that nearly everyone has one so far. There are 11 heirlooms in Apex Legends, leaving 7 (8 if counting the character coming in Season 11) to be added. Currently, their heirlooms in-game include:
- Wraith’s Kunai
- Bloodhound’s Raven’s Bite Axe
- Lifeline’s Shock Sticks
- Pathfinder’s Boxing Gloves
- Octane’s Butterfly Knife
- Mirage’s Trophy
- Caustic’s Death Hammer
- Gibraltar’s War Club
- Bangalore’s Cold Steel Data-Knife
- Revenant’s Dead Man Curve Scythe
- Rampart’s Problem Solver Wrench
This leaves Wattson, Crypto, Loba, Horizon, Fuse, Valkyrie, and Seer without an Heirloom. Of these, Wattson and Crypto—from seasons 2 and 3 respectively—have yet to receive their Heirloom. This is made even more odd considering Octane, Revenant, and Rampart have Heirlooms, with Octane being from the first season and the other two much later. At this rate, many may worry that Loba or Horizon may get their Heirlooms first, but given their age, Wattson and Crypto should be next in line. Particularly, many Wattson mains are eager for a proper heirloom, and she has a little more seniority.
Apex Legends Wattson Heirloom Rumors
Of course, Apex Legends is constantly datamined and new rumors often rear their head. Wattson has been rumored to get an Heirloom several times in the past, with those rumors first indicating it was a fence post and others now suggesting it’s a speedometer-looking Taser. The latter thus far is getting a mixed reaction, but the benefit of its format (as seen above) is that it supposedly comes with a Tamagotchi-like Nessie on screen.
Despite these Apex Legends leaks, there’s no telling when her heirloom will come to the game. It could be next season or beyond, but for many Wattson mains, it’s hopefully as soon as possible.
Apex Legends is available now on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
