Over the course of the last two and a half years since Apex Legends was released, many players have played hundreds, even thousands of games. Along with playing these games, players have gained many stats related to those matches. While Apex Legends includes an account page that shows different career and seasonal stats, along with badges and stat trackers that provide details regarding past performance in Arenas matches and battle royale games, some fans believe that Respawn could do better.

Recently, one player came up with an idea for how to show more data to players. In a post on Reddit, a user known as laughie1 shared an idea for a possible new feature for Apex Legends. According to the gamer, the concept would bring a more comprehensive breakdown of recent matches. Specifically, the stat-tracker would show statistics from the last 10 games played.

Laughie1 even posted an example of how the feature could work in-game. Using Photoshop, the gamer created a table showing many different stats. Even though many of the numbers were arbitrary, they still conveyed the idea that more information regarding recent matches played would be a good thing. In addition to containing many typical stats, such as kills, damage, and placement, the creator included some often overlooked stats including, headshots, accuracy %, and XP earned. Another cool feature of the Apex Legends design was the inclusion of averages of these stats over players’ most recent 10 games.

This new stat-tracking feature from laughie1 has caught the attention of several players in the Apex Legends community on Reddit. Players liked the idea of this new feature, with many wanting Respawn to add a dedicated tab for recent matches played. One gamer even suggested that the developers show player win percentages for Kings Canyon, Worlds, Edge, and Olympus. This additional information would allow players to see which maps they perform the best on, giving them an idea of where more practice is needed.

In addition to the idea of including win percentages for maps, another gamer pointed out that the stats currently tracked in Apex Legends are cumulative. “We just need an incremental stats chart,” they said. Furthermore, they used Counter-Strike: Global Offensive as an example of a first-person shooter with incremental stat tracking.

For many gamers, the inclusion of more stats would be a welcome addition, as it allows them to evaluate their recent performance in the games they play. With the launch of Season 11 of Apex Legends just over a week away, players will have to wait and see if Respawn possibly decides to add more advanced stat-tracking to the game.

Apex Legends is available now for PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
