Another teaser for Apex Legends Season 6 has popped up in the World's Edge map. Slight map changes and little Easter eggs are popular for Apex Legends when a new season is approaching, with previous seasons including teasers like in-game events and map changes. This season, a slight change to the Sorting Factory could be a teaser for Season 6.

Players have found that a crane has moved at Sorting Factory along with other objects. The crane was previously in the air, but has now moved to the ground along with a large rocket thruster and signs that display "future worksite." When World's Edge changed in Season 4, the map changes were also teased with various construction signs from Hammond Robotics, however, based on the Broken Ghost quest in Apex Legends, Season 6 will have a new map.

At the end of the Broken Ghost quest, a floating city is revealed to be the location of the next map. Season 5's new legend Loba is from the floating city and the quest seems to be leading the legends to the new map Olympus. The rocket thruster in World's Edge could be pointing to the construction of a rocket, which may be the only way to reach the city in the sky. As of now, the start date for Season 6 has not been confirmed, however, each Apex Legends season lasts around three months.

The introduction of quests has added much-needed character lore and creates more of a personality for each legend. Features such as the bunkers, mobile respawns and limited-time modes have expanded gameplay and it seems much more is in store for Season 6. Fall not only marks the expected start of Season 6, but also will mark the release of Apex Legends on Steam and Nintendo Switch.

The game is also enabling crossplay for all platforms on Apex Legends and is expected to be enabled at the same time as the game receives Steam and Switch ports. Cross-play may change gameplay for many players, but Respawn developers have ensured that there will not be imbalances between consoles and PC players. Respawn Entertainment has confirmed that cross-play will only match consoles with consoles unless there is a PC player in the lobby.

Teasers like the crane and rocket thruster confirm the next season coming sooner than later. Based on the length of previous seasons, Apex Legends Season 6 is likely going to release later this month. Players still have time to max out their battle pass and complete the Season 5 quests, so players should be on the lookout for more teasers that could explain the changes coming in Season 6.

Apex Legends is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Steam and Switch Ports are coming later this year.
