The latest season of Apex Legends is quickly coming to a close, though it has certainly left a positive impression on fans thanks in large part to the latest character joining the roster. Loba, a cat burglar inspired by Catwoman, introduced a number of interesting abilities such as her ultimate which allows teammates to grab gear in one central location. With season 6 on the way, it appears another major Titanfall 2 character is coming back to Apex Legends.

The details for this reveal come from the final step of the season long quest known as Broken Ghost. Taking a break from the typical Battle Royale style gameplay, quests gave Respawn the ability to give the game a bit more narrative over the course of an entire season. After unlocking a hunt in Apex Legends by finding treasure, players can take part in a PvE mission to unlock new cosmetics and push the story forward. With the final mission now available, the reward gives players a surprising glimpse into the next season of the game.

In the epilogue mission called Dust to Dust, which is another callback to a Titanfall 2 achievement, players infiltrate coordinates Hammond Technology sent over to deliver a device in return for the location of the source code for the Simulacrum program. As the player approaches the center of the area, a broken figure can be seen hanging by wires. It's the body of Ash, another simulacrum players fought as the final boss to the Into The Abyss mission.

Approaching the body, the player places the head of Ash back on the body in order to complete the quest. Doing this brings her back online and ends the mission. Including a new Flatline weapon skin and an Ash bobblehead charm, the player then gets a bit more story from Octane and Lifeline who are communicating through a chat program. The dialogue between the two seem to indicate that players will be heading to a new map called Olympus, a new area in The Outlands that has been referenced and briefly seen in the Revenant cinematic trailer.

Season 6 is already shaping up to be a big one for Apex Legends fans, teasing the additions of Ash as the newest legend and taking players to Olympus. However, it also appears that the military focused character Bangalore is also going to get her moment in the sun next season as well. A Tweet from writer Tom Casiello teased that Bangalore's story is about to be told, which should hopefully flesh out her past as a member of the IMC alongside Ash.

Apex Legends is available to play on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
