In the recent release of the Apex Legends Season 3 trailer, Respawn teased the arrival of a brand new arena called World's End. Now today, Respawn has released a new gameplay trailer that gives fans a look at the brand new arena and some of its interesting features. The trailer focuses on the new environments players will be able to explore, as well as giving fans a brand new look at Crypto - the new legend coming with Season 3.

World's End is the brand new map coming in Season 3, and it differs greatly from King's Canyon. While many Apex Legends fans speculated at first that King's Canyon would be getting another makeover with Season 3, it seems now that the legends will be dropping in an entirely new arena. Sticking to the Meltdown seasonal theme, World's End features many different environments, ranging from lava-filled mountains to ice-covered fields. World's End also seems to feature a train carrying loot containers, as well as geysers that players can use to quickly redeploy. While it's currently unknown how these new areas will impact gameplay, they are certainly much more interesting than anything King's Canyon had to offer in either Season 1 or 2.

Thankfully it seems the weird Apex Legends character teasers are left behind for now because this trailer's main focus is World's End and the new features of Season 3. Also featured in the trailer are some new cosmetics, presumably tied to the new battle pass launching alongside the new season. An ice-themed Pathfinder skin is shown off, as well as a fiery demon skin for Lifeline. Pathfinder is walking around with an ice-covered Peacekeeper, while Lifeline has what appears to be a flaming Longbow skin.

This trailer is also the first time players are seeing the new Apex Legend character Crypto and his abilities in action. It seems Crypto can send out a drone and can survey the surrounding area, which may make him a new staple for team compositions. He is also seen throwing some sort of stun grenade in the Season 3 reveal trailer, so he may have multiple different abilities that will help give his team an edge in a fight.

Season 3 of Apex Legends goes live on October 1, so fans have only a couple days left to earn Season 2's Battle Pass rewards. Season 3 will also feature a new season of Ranked play, so players should hone their skills to be the best in Apex Legends ranked mode to earn the best rewards. While it may be too late to grind out to Apex Predator this season, on October 1 players will be able to start the grind all over for those sweet rewards while enjoying the brand new map.

Apex Legends is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
