The patch notes for Apex Legends Season 15 are out, and there won't be any legend buffs and nerfs. Originally posted on the Apex Legends website, it covered updates on gun balance, quality of life, and necessary bug fixes on maps, among many others.

The new season of Apex Legends, titled Eclipse, is gearing up to be an exciting one with the addition of new defensive legend Catalyst and fifth map Broken Moon. Prior to its November release, fans were also treated to various trailers that add more insight to the game's lore, most notably the rivalry between Boreas-born legends Catalyst and Seer.

As with any big update, Apex Legends players might be expecting changes to their legends. However, the Season 15 patch notes have nothing about buffing or nerfing legends. It seems like developer Respawn Entertainment wanted to focus more on improving other aspects of the game. A big chunk of the patch notes covered balance updates for guns and attachments, which received their own buffs and nerfs. Other updates include bug fixes for certain Apex Legends maps, legends, and skins, as well as raising the Ranked entry requirement from level 10 to 20.

The patch notes include details on new features coming to Apex Legends Season 15 apart from Catalyst and Broken Moon. The highly anticipated Gifting System will allow players to purchase cosmetic items and bundles for their in-game friends. Another addition are Stickers, a new cosmetic that lets players equip stickers to healing items. Players can get the Shattered and Deathbox stickers for free once Eclipse launches, while Epic Stickers can be unlocked for a limited time.

Players might be surprised to see that no changes will be made to the legends. Recently, some expressed that Vantage's ultimate ability might need to be nerfed because it's said to be overpowered. While others think that legends like Crypto need significant buffs to make them more effective and efficient in battle.

Of course, this is just the start of the season. Respawn could still implement legend buffs and nerfs after the first Ranked split. In the past, changes in the game were made after casual players, pro players, and popular Apex Legends streamers pointed out certain balance issues and bugs. It wouldn't be surprising if Catalyst would get the brunt of it for being a possibly "broken" legend, which was also the case with others when they first launched. Players will have to wait and see for themselves once Season 15 drops on November 1st.

Apex Legends is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and mobile devices.
