Apex Legends Season 14: Hunted is shaping up to be one of the biggest seasonal launches in recent memory. There are map updates to Kings Canyon and a new character (sniping recon legend Vantage), of course, but the sheer number of changes to the weapon pool is really going to shake up the meta.

Of course, this also means the hype for a new seasonal launch is at a fever pitch in the days leading up to it. Apex Legends season 14 will be here very soon, and for fans curious as to when they can dive into all the good content, this guide outlines that.

Apex Legends Season 14: Hunted Start Date

As many fans know, the previous Apex Legends season ends on the same day as the new one begins. This means fans will have until Apex Legends season 14 begins on August 9 to complete any leftover content from season 13, such as the current Battle Pass, as that is when Season 14 starts.

Apex Legends Season 14: Hunted Update Time

Specifically, they will have until 10 am PT/1 pm ET on Tuesday, August 9 because that's when the Hunted update will go live, per the official EA website. Once players download the update, which is likely to be sizeable as every seasonal launch is, they can begin working on the new Battle Pass, checking out the changes to Kings Canyon, and sniping enemies with Vantage.

It should be noted that this information, of course, comes with the possibility of a delay. Many seasonal games have ended up with delays, sometimes in a matter of days or weeks but most of the time in a matter of hours. This happens very rarely for Apex Legends, though. Since its launch of season 1, Apex has ever really only delayed the start date once or perhaps twice, and the time has only been held up on specific platforms for very precise issues before. So, it's not impossible, but fans can expect to dive into the reforged Kings Canyon rather reliably at the above time.

The Spitfire will then take light ammo, the Wingman will then take sniper ammo, new weapons will be in the crate and on the ground, and Vantage will be there to shake up the Apex Legends meta. It'll take a few weeks for the dust to settle and see how all these changes impact the game, but they are exciting changes.

Apex Legends is available now for Mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
