Apex Legends Season 14 is rapidly approaching, set to kick off on August 9. Set to introduce new character Vantage, as well as a bevy of changes to the layout of Kings Canyon, the upcoming season seems to be an overall refresher.
Ahead of the launch of Season 14, Respawn Entertainment released a new trailer detailing what players can expect in the newest battle pass coming to Apex Legends. As per usual, there will be plenty of character and weapon skins along with new holosprays, a huge amount of survival themed cosmetics, and a shiny new reactive skin that will unlock upon the completion of the battle pass.
It wouldn't be an Apex Legends battle pass if Wraith didn't get a new skin with the trailer showcasing the new "Veteran Voyager" skin as well as giving fans a look at the "Lucky Draw" Wingman skin with both displaying similar styles. Following the Wraith and Wingman combo, fans of toxic trapper Caustic will be pleased to see that the mad scientist is getting a skin with the newest battle pass. "Field Research" Caustic will introduce a unique look to the character with Caustic going bald and spouting a large scar over his right eye. There will also be a skin for players to unlock for Vantage, and the trailer gives a look into to Vantage's finisher with the aid of her companion Echo.
Aside from the Wraith and Caustic skins, fans get a look at the upcoming reactive skin coming to the Triple Take in Season 14 that will unlock upon completion of the battle pass. "The Fortune Hunter" Reactive skin boasts a white and black spotted color scheme with golden elements and, as the norm for Reactive skins, downing foes will electrically charge up the Triple Take through the unique contraption in the middle of the gun as they battle throughout the newly reworked Kings Canyon. The final inclusion in the trailer is the introduction of a new way to tackle battle pass challenges by removing the mode they are required to be completed in.
