As a live service title, Apex Legends, continues to evolve and change often. In fact, Season 11 saw arguably the biggest changes arrive to the game with the Titanfall villain Ash joining the roster, as well as a new map known as Storm Point. The huge landmass features a wide range of diverse locations to explore and new mechanics to interact with like Gravity Launchers as well as NPC enemies around Wildlife Nests.

The season also took time to flesh out a bit more of Apex Legends' overall lore, giving players background on one of the more mysterious characters in Bangalore. While available since Day 1, Respawn hasn't given too many details on the former soldier's life, but as the cinematic showed, Anita and her brother Jackson were heavily involved with the IMC before they were eventually turned on for being a deserter. The game still has a number of dangling lore threads, and if recent teases are to be believed, Season 12 may be dealing with a big rivalry.

Recently on the Storm Point map, Apex Legends players have been coming across a new and unique aerial drop that happens during matches. While the event looks like a Care Package being dropped in, exploring the crash site features a broken piece of what appears to be an aircraft. There's a logo on the object as well, which fans have already figured out to be that of the planet Salvo, which is the home of the legend Fuse.

Naturally, this is likely hinting at the return of Maggie, childhood friend of Fuse and current rival. As fans may remember, prior to season 8, Fuse's cinematic trailer introduced Maggie, who eventually turned on Fuse when he announced that he was leaving to join the Apex Games instead of becoming a powerful Salvo Warlord with her. Since then, Maggie has been looking for ways to get back at Fuse and this teaser may hint that she found a way to not only arrive at the Apex Games, but could finally be getting her revenge against Fuse.

While Respawn has yet to talk about Season 12, fans are expecting the new season to arrive in a couple of weeks when the current content comes to an end. In fact, some players believe Season 12 could be a big one based off of one developer's response to a fan bemoaning the game's Arena mode. Apex Legends producer Josh Medina responded to the request for more objective based modes with a Gif of an individual seemingly taking notes regarding an idea. While nothing is confirmed, many are taking this to mean that Respawn is listening and could be adding even more game modes for those who may not enjoy Battle Royale style games.

Apex Legends is available now for PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
