Due to the popularity of Apex Legends, there is always someone data mining and finding new information about upcoming legends, events, and the like. It’s not always accurate, as many believed Maali would be the season 11 Legend, but it was Ash. Plus, there was the whole Revenant-Forge switcheroo back in the day. Luckily, however, event leaks tend to be rather spot-on.

This is good news, as it seems Apex Legends is getting a new Collection event in December. It is reportedly Space Pirate-themed, which may seem strange given the holidays, but there’s plenty to celebrate those too. Here’s what data miners have found so far for this event.

Thanks to GarretLeaks, a trustworthy source who previously leaked Storm Point, the Space Pirate Collection Event will begin after December 11—making the December 14 date very likely (updates usually happen on Tuesdays.) Rumors suggest that the Holo-Day Bash will return alongside this event, bringing back the beloved Winter Express LTM, a popular yearly mode where two teams fight for control of a Holo-day-themed train.

As to which characters will get skins, the only one GarretLeaks has confirmed is Seer (reportedly pictured above). The Space Pirate connections are obvious, with a big skull as his heart piece and a Jolly Rogers-style skull on his ht. More characters will obviously get skins, but it’s probably best there be some surprises for Apex Legends players. Finally, alongside this Collection event will be a Town Takeover and heirloom for Wattson, which makes sense for a couple of reasons.

First, she is one of the oldest legends without one, and second, Wattson’s buffs in Apex Legends season 11 make it a time for celebration. A collection event, town takeover, and Holo-Day Bash LTM may sound like a lot, but it would be a good way to bring the end of the year in strong. Indeed, it would be a good end of the year and a strong point in the already strong season.

It’s no secret Apex Legends players were upset with the servers, bugs, and more that plagued season 10, but the release of Storm Point and season 11 has gone rather smoothly. If it remains this way is up in the air, but the good news is that Apex Legends doesn’t seem like it’s going to slow down. There seems to be a little something for everyone in the upcoming Apex Legends season 11 event, even if fans should still take it with some skepticism until Respawn Entertainment confirms it.

Apex Legends is available now for PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
