Even as Season 10 of Apex Legends is still in full swing, some fans are already looking ahead to Season 11 of the game. While Respawn Entertainment typically announces a new character a few weeks before the release of a new season, a fresh leak has given fans some possible clues regarding who is about to join the battle royale's impressive list of Legends. An Apex Legends dataminer known as garret on YouTube released a video about the next Legend being added to the game. According to him, one line of code has been discovered that could be linked to the upcoming Season 11 Legend. While this isn’t much to go off of, he seems to have found some useful details. Some of the info contained in this code includes the possible name/code name for the character along with some of their possible abilities.RELATED: Apex Legends Fans Come Up With Interesting Idea For A Wraith BuffIn regards to the Legend’s name, the code contains the word “Maali.” Based on this script, the dataminer suggests that this could be the name of the upcoming Legend. He noted that the name had a tropical feel which coincides with rumors of a potential tropical island map coming in the future. Furthermore, another section of code reads “maali_damage_boost,” which could pertain to the character’s abilities. While not entirely certain, garret speculated that this ability could boost a certain part of the Legend’s kit similar to how Bangalore’s Double Time passive increases her movement speed when under fire.[EMBED_YT]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nNYRM8_N3gM[/EMBED_YT]Beyond this line of code, a character model was found as well. The dataminer believes that this model is of Ash and noted that it looks like the hologram from the Arenas game mode, except that she is in human form. There are two different variants of this model, one with a hood and one without. Despite not believing that Ash is the new Legend for Season 11, he didn’t rule out the possibility, noting that “Maali” could be a code name. This new leak has lead to much speculation by the Apex Legends community. Many debated whether Ash could be the new Legend with some noting that she is already the announcer for Arenas. Others commented that they hope the new Legend has a defensive or support role to offset the large amount of recon and assault characters. Regardless, it’s worth noting that none of this information has been confirmed by Respawn, meaning that these details could be inaccurate like the Season 9 leak about Blisk and playable Titans.Apex Legends is available now on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.MORE: Apex Legends Needs a 'Mover' Class
