In early March, reliable leaker iLootGames revealed a model for a potential creature possibly coming to Apex Legends. That creature is revealed to be a Prowler, a four-legged hostile beast from the Titanfall series. More data files on the Prowler have now been found and shown off by iLootGames in his latest video.
iLootGames reveals three different skins for the Prowler, and that they indicate there could be up to seven skins based on the file numbering. All three skins have very different designs and color schemes. This could potentially mean that Prowlers could have different abilities, but the skins could als0 be purely cosmetic.
A number of new animations are also shown, including one labeled "scan," indicating that the Prowlers may be able to locate and hunt players. Another animation points to Prowlers' possible ability to scale walls and jump through windows, which would be completely terrifying. Many believe that these creatures have been teased in-game already by having a dog-like creature quickly shown, and iLootGames even said that many of the new animations look dog-like.
With all this leaked data, one can only wonder when Apex Legends will add Prowlers. Since it is the middle of season 4, many believe that they will wait until the beginning of season 5. Both Kings Canyon and World's Edge maps are available now, but it is possible that Prowlers will be introduced with a whole new map for season 5.
