It has been two years since Apex Legends was first released, but the game continues to renew itself so it feels as good as new. Recently, Game Director Chad Grenier revealed that Respawn has been planning ahead when it comes to Legends, which means Apex Legends will not be running out of content any time soon.

Apex Legends has been releasing new seasons approximately every three months, and with each season comes a new Legend. Currently, the game is on its 8th season titled Mayhem, and the newest Legend added to the roaster was Fuse. Not only does every season come with a new Legend, but the game is also updated with new guns and additional content.

Respawn has managed to keep fans invested in the game by adding new content each season, but some may be wondering if the developers will be able to keep up with the updates. Apparently, Respawn is prepared for many more seasons, so Apex Legends will not be running out of content any time soon. During the Brown Girl Gamer Code podcast of April 2nd, Grenier revealed that Respawn has already planned Legends all the way to the twelfth season, which is scheduled to launch next year.

This does not mean that there are four more Legends ready to be added to the game right now. However, Respawn seems to be constantly coming up with new characters, so even if the upcoming Legends are not fully designed yet, some aspects of them like their ability sets are already in development. According to Grenier, the character design is usually done in advance so writers and artists have enough time to come up with a whole character.

While there are not many confirmed details about all of the upcoming four Legends, Respawn recently disclosed that the ninth season will come with a lot of Titanfall content. Particularly, Blisk will be added to the Legends roster and it seems like he will be able to summon a Titan from Titanfall which is bound to make the game more interesting in terms of gameplay.

Now that Apex Legends is available on Steam in addition to the Origin, the number of players has increased greatly. Furthermore, EA has already confirmed that they are working on a mobile version of the game, which means more players will probably get into the game, so it is only natural Respawn will try to keep the game interesting for newer and older fans.

Apex Legends is available on PC, PlayStation 4, Switch, and Xbox One.
