In a post on Reddit, a user by the name of PuzzleheadedKoala692 shared a clip of a discovery they made in Apex Legends. While playing as Newcastle in a match, the Reddit user’s teammate managed to knock an enemy Bangalore. Wasting no time, PuzzleheadedKoala692 moved in and performed a finisher on the downed opponent. However, what happened next was unexpected, to say the least.
After activating their finisher, PuzzleheadedKoala692 was surprised to learn that the animation for finishing Bangalore was different from other Legends. In the clip, Newcastle taunted his younger sister, dancing in front of her. This led her to say, “you never could dance.” However, the new Legend was quick with a reply, saying, “and you never could beat me.”
Unsurprisingly, this unique finisher animation performed by PuzzleheadedKoala692 caught the attention of a number of Apex Legends players on Reddit. Since being posted, the clip has received over 480 upvotes. Among the comments, numerous fans liked the sibling rivalry between the Legends. In addition, many gamers were eager to try this out for themselves in the battle royale. Besides the comments centering around Newcastle, this clip caused some to wonder if Bangalore had a unique finisher animation for her brother as well.
Interestingly, this is not the only unique interaction between Newcastle and Bangalore in Apex Legends. For example, players have discovered that the two can run into each other in the in-game lobby. During this interaction, Bangalore walks out to see Newcastle and proceeds to make fun of the new Legend’s heroic appearance.
